Makes 4 servings
1 French baguette
1 stick butter, softened at room temperature
2 tablespoons honey
2 large tomatoes, sliced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
2 (3-ounce) packages sliced prosciutto, or any other deli meat as desired
½ cup shaved Parmesan
Chopped fresh herbs of your choice
Slice baguette in half, spread softened butter on one side, then drizzle honey over butter.
Place tomatoes on baguette and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add prosciutto, Parmesan and herbs to garnish and place other half of baguette on top. Tightly wrap sandwich in plastic wrap to transport.
